Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi 15A in India, the latest addition to its budget Redmi 15 series. Aimed at everyday users who want a reliable, long-lasting phone without breaking the bank, the 15A ships with a generous 6,300mAh battery and a 6.9-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood runs the Unisoc T8300 chipset, available with 4GB or 8GB of RAM. Camera highlights include a 32MP main sensor on the rear and an 8MP front camera for selfies. The phone ships with Xiaomi's latest HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16, and Xiaomi has committed to four years of OS updates and six years of security patches — impressive for a budget device.

Additional features include 15W wired charging, 7.5W reverse charging to top up other devices, an IP52 splash-resistance rating, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Colour options are Blue, Purple, and Black.
