Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 15 Special Edition in India. It is essentially the Redmi Note 15 5G sold in China, and comes in three colours: Black, White, and a premium-looking Crimson Reserve with a faux-leather back.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Its 6.77-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display runs at 120Hz and peaks at 3,200 nits of brightness.
Camera specs include a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth camera on the rear, and a 20MP selfie shooter. The 5,800mAh battery supports 45W wired fast charging. An under-display fingerprint sensor handles biometrics.
Software is HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. The phone has earned both MIL-STD-810H ruggedness certification and IP55/IP66 ratings. Pricing starts at ₹19,999 (approximately $215).
