The new Galaxy S-series is here. The S26 Ultra comes with the latest Qualcomm chip, a Privacy Display that blocks shoulder-surfing, and the fastest charging yet. It is thinner (7.2mm) and lighter (214g) than its predecessor. The titanium body has been replaced with aluminum, while Gorilla Glass Victus 2 continues on the rear. Display and Privacy Display The 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED QHD+ display supports a 1-120Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 2,600 nits brightness, protected by Gorilla Armor 2. The S Pen is still included. New this year is the Privacy Display — a hardware feature that makes the screen appear black when viewed from the side, working alongside software to keep notifications and passwords secure. Performance and Camera All markets get the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy chip. RAM options are 12GB (256GB and 512GB models) and 16GB (1TB model). The 200MP main camera now has a wider f/1.4 aperture, capturing 47% more light. The 10MP 3x telephoto sensor is slightly smaller, but the 50MP 5x telephoto gains a brighter f/2.9 aperture for 37% more light. The 50MP ultrawide remains unchanged. Battery and Charging The 5,000 mAh battery continues, but charging has been upgraded to 60W — reaching 75% from zero in half an hour. 25W wireless charging (Qi 2.2) and 4.5W reverse wireless charging are also included. AI Features Running One UI 8.5 on Android 16, it comes loaded with Galaxy AI capabilities: - Photo Assist and Creative Studio for photo editing and sticker creation - Audio Eraser to remove background sounds in YouTube, Netflix, and other apps - Call Screening to filter calls and display them as text - Now Nudge and Now Brief to suggest relevant info on the home screen based on what you're doing Pricing Color options include Black, Violet, Light Blue, and White, with Silver and Rose Gold available online.
