Tecno has introduced the new Pova Curve 2 smartphone in the Indian market. The phone is claimed to be the thinnest among phones with an 8,000mAh battery, measuring just 7.42mm thick and weighing 195 grams. The design has also been refreshed compared to the first generation. On the display side, it features a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach up to 4,500 nits of brightness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. It also carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance and an SGS drop-resistance certification. For performance, it uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 SoC with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear, plus a 13MP selfie camera. Software is HiOS 16 based on Android 16, with two promised major Android OS updates. Other highlights include 45W fast charging, an under-display fingerprint scanner, and G1 and SE1 connectivity chips. It comes in three colors: purple, silver, and titanium, with sales starting February 20.
