Chinese robotics company AgiBot has announced it has completed its 10,000th humanoid robot, marking a significant milestone in the large-scale commercialisation of AI-powered robots designed to work alongside humans.

The speed of their production ramp-up is striking: while reaching the first 1,000 units took nearly two years, scaling from 5,000 to 10,000 took just three months. AgiBot attributes this acceleration to improved component standardisation and a more mature supply chain, allowing work that once took years to be completed within months.

AgiBot's robots are already deployed across a wide range of industries worldwide — handling logistics, assisting customers in retail showrooms, working in hotel hospitality, and collaborating with human workers on factory floors. The company is actively expanding into Europe, the Americas, Japan, and Southeast Asia, with enterprise customers moving from pilots to full-scale deployment.
