Estonia-based Rollo Robotics has introduced 1Rollo, a wheeled AI robot capable of automatically patrolling warehouses, factories, and sprawling university campuses.
The robot, equipped with multilingual AI systems, a 360-degree camera, GPS, and sensors, can smoothly navigate obstacles and precisely detect suspicious movements.
Upon detecting any anomalies, it immediately alerts human supervisors, and can also be remotely controlled and communicated with directly through its built-in speaker and microphone.
To enhance the robot's performance, durability, and mass production capabilities, Rollo Robotics has secured investment of up to €3.7 million ($4.3 million).
The company is preparing to introduce the robot to the commercial market next year with a monthly subscription service model.
According to the startup, the 1Rollo robot will alleviate the burden of tedious routine patrols on security personnel while improving security standards across all locations.
