Apple will take a few more months to officially introduce the iPhone 18 Pro, but Caviar, a globally renowned luxury goods manufacturer, has announced that the new iPhone 18 Pro "Royal Colors" Collection, worth tens of thousands of dollars, will be available for pre-order starting May 20th, even before the phone is released.
Buyers will not see the phone early, but will need to pay in advance for the luxury design. Later this year, when Apple officially releases the phones, Caviar will purchase them in bulk and then remove the original phone back and aluminum components, upgrading them with gold, titanium, and gemstones before delivering them to buyers.
These designs are created based on historical narratives, and to match the name iPhone 18, one design will be limited to only 18 units worldwide.
The four designs are the Imperator model with Roman imperial robes featuring purple gemstones and 24-karat gold plating; the King model with French royal insignia featuring white gemstones; the Black Prince model inspired by medieval metal armor with black metal; and the Pharaoh model inspired by ancient Egyptian artifacts with pharaonic styling.
Each buyer will also receive Caviar's luxury packaging box, a branded key, and a gold-plated diamond-shaped card as a gift.
In terms of pricing, the Black Prince and Pharaoh models start at the lowest price of $10,060 USD (approximately 400,000 Myanmar Kyat), the King model is priced at $10,200, and the highest-end Imperator model is set at up to $10,340.
Since buyers must pay tens of thousands of dollars a few months before the phone is released and pay in advance for the design, it has become especially popular among luxury goods collectors.
