China has officially opened the first training school in Shanghai that can teach humanoid robots from more than 10 companies in one centralized location, rather than providing separate training for each company. The center, which spans 5,000 square meters, can currently train over 100 robots simultaneously and plans to increase capacity to 1,000 robots by 2027.

At the center, robots will not be trained to perform just a single task, but will begin learning 45 basic skills including object handling, carrying, and object classification. Following that, they will continue training to be able to operate in 10 real-world workplace scenarios such as factory production, household tasks, and travel services.

Additionally, the center aims to build an AI data platform that will collect data generated during robot training and share it with other robot manufacturers. This initiative is part of China's technology advancement plan, aimed at accelerating the development of robots that can safely collaborate with humans in factories, warehouses, and other workplaces.
