Dyna Robotics' commercial laundry robot named Taku completed 60 minutes of continuous operation in a hotel laundry room without any human assistance, working systematically throughout. This robot doesn't just repeat a single task—it handles the entire laundry workflow including loading clothes into washing and drying machines, retrieving and distributing items, systematically folding garments, and placing them on shelves for inspection.

The Taku robot features dual multi-directional arms and four easy-to-maneuver wheels, enabling it to navigate smoothly between machinery, inspection tables, and shelving. The laundry process includes 13 major decision points, 79 procedural steps, and numerous detailed operations. Taku can self-correct if clothes fall or if it makes handling errors, without requiring human intervention.

The system is powered by Dyna-2.1 technology, which understands the robot's movements and environmental conditions. It was trained using over 1 million hours of human-robot interaction data. Dyna Company is developing this technology for practical implementation across various commercial settings including hotels, laundromats, and restaurants.
