Google's Gemini app has reached 1 billion monthly active users, becoming the company's fastest-growing product. It is also the 14th Google product to achieve 1 billion users, joining Search, Gmail, and Android.
The app grew from 400 million users in May 2025 to 900 million within a year. Currently, over 100 million users are accessing Gemini from iOS, and 63% of users are interacting through voice commands. Additionally, one in five users are utilizing live camera and screen sharing features, with the app generating over 150 million images daily.
Looking ahead, Google plans to introduce over 60 regional languages to the Gemini app in the coming weeks. The company also intends to launch new learning features and automatic functions that will work across over 40 Android apps.
