Google's newly launched Gemini Spark has arrived as a powerful AI assistant, packed with capabilities designed to compete with today's leading chatbots. According to hands-on testing by Android Authority, Gemini Spark performs well for writing tasks, information lookup, and everyday assistance, backed by a clean and intuitive interface. However, extended use of Perplexity Computer revealed one clear area where Gemini Spark still falls short.

Perplexity Computer proved more reliable and precise when it comes to web browsing and real-time task execution, with a stronger ability to autonomously carry out actions directly on a computer. Gemini Spark, by comparison, has not yet matched Perplexity's level of performance in browser-based automation and complex multi-step task handling, according to the review.

Google continues to roll out updates aimed at improving Gemini Spark's overall functionality. While both AI assistants bring distinct strengths to the table, Perplexity currently holds the edge specifically in browsing-focused and task-automation scenarios.

For Myanmar users exploring AI assistant options, this distinction matters. Gemini Spark works well for general writing and daily assistance, but for research-heavy browsing and automated task execution, Perplexity may currently offer the more dependable experience, based on these findings.
