Google has introduced a new laptop category called "Googlebook" that will replace Chromebooks.

The Googlebooks combine the best features of Android and Chrome OS, and are built primarily on Gemini AI.

Users will be able to access Gemini's assistance simply by moving the cursor on the laptop, and can also create custom widgets by just typing in text.

The distinctive feature of Googlebooks is their seamless integration with Android phones. Users will be able to directly access apps from their phones on the laptop, and can instantly respond to notifications coming to their phone from the laptop.

Additionally, files stored in the phone can be easily accessed and used through Googlebook's File Browser.

Currently, Google is partnering with major companies such as Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, and Lenovo to produce high-end laptops.

Each Googlebook will include a feature called "Glowbar," which is a sleek and functional light strip, and will be available in various designs.

Google has promised to release more detailed information in the latter half of this year.
