SpaceX, the company preparing for a historic entry into the stock market, has announced a major agreement with tech giant Google. According to this contract, Google will pay SpaceX approximately $920 million per month (nearly $1 billion) to lease advanced computing systems, including nearly 110,000 NVIDIA GPUs, from October 2026 through June 2029. This has become SpaceX's second major goldmine following the $1.25 billion monthly contract signed with Anthropic in May.

Google, which is recognized as possessing the world's most AI computing power, is coming to lease in this manner because users are heavily utilizing its AI products like Gemini Enterprise. Google states this is an emergency supply plan because demand has surged far beyond expectations. On the other hand, Alphabet, Google's parent company, has already spent over $180 billion on AI technology this year and is planning to spend even more in 2027.

This agreement emerged just a week before SpaceX's shares are to be sold on the Nasdaq market, and SpaceX is targeting to reach a company valuation of up to $1.75 trillion. In fact, Google is a major long-term investor shareholder in SpaceX, and after the stock market listing, Google's ownership stake will be worth over $100 billion. Additionally, it is known that the current contract includes a 90-day notice period with the option for both parties to terminate the agreement after the end of 2026, and the two companies are even planning to construct data centers in Earth's orbit (in space).
