Honor has officially introduced its flagship Honor Robot Phone in China, set to revolutionize the smartphone world. The device's most distinctive feature is a titanium gimbal camera mounted on the back of the phone. It utilizes the world's smallest 4D gimbal system, which is 65% smaller than conventional gimbals. The main camera features a 200MP sensor with AI Tracking technology and voice control capabilities.
The camera setup includes a 200MP Periscope Telephoto lens alongside a 50MP Ultrawide lens in addition to the main camera. The device is co-developed with the renowned Arri camera brand, enabling users to capture high-quality cinematic videos comparable to professional cinema cameras. Additionally, the Yoyo AI Assistant allows the phone to observe its surroundings and respond intelligently, capable of displaying over 100 facial expressions. It can even perform tasks like playing songs, effectively functioning as a robotic companion rather than just a standard smartphone.
In terms of performance, the device features a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display, the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and a large 7060mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The phone will be available in two colors—silver and black—and will launch in China on August 18th. The starting price is set at 9,999 Chinese Yuan (approximately $1,482 USD).
