Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang's black leather jacket, which he has worn, was sold for $960,000 at an auction held in New York.

The auction was conducted by Sotheby's auction department, and it fetched 16 times more than the initial estimated value of $60,000. Up to 45 collectors competed in bidding to acquire the Tom Ford branded jacket.

Like Steve Jobs' black turtleneck and Marc Jacobs' gray t-shirts, CEO Jensen Huang is known to wear leather jackets as part of his personal style.

He habitually wears leather jackets at every public appearance, including when he appeared on the cover of Time magazine in 2021. Under his leadership, Nvidia has become one of the world's highest-valued public companies.

The funds raised from the auction will be donated to the Edge Institute, a non-profit organization that teaches English language education and western business and educational methods to experts.

A Sotheby's official stated that the jacket is a memorable item closely associated with a prominent figure in the new era of AI (Artificial Intelligence).
