If there are people who tend to take screenshots of conversations through Messenger, you should be aware. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has announced a new update where disappearing messages that automatically vanish over time will instantly send a notification to you if someone takes a screenshot.

Zuckerberg explained how this system works by sharing a chat conversation with his wife Priscilla Chan along with a photo, warning users about it.

This system is a feature that became famous on Snapchat, and Meta Company is now planning to implement it on Instagram as well to improve security.

Additionally, in this new update, GIFs, stickers, and Reactions are now available for use in secret conversation threads.

Currently, this system has begun to be used in the United States, and it is planned to continue rolling out to European countries.

Under Zuckerberg's announcement, more than 90,000 comments have appeared, and it is generating intense discussion among online users.

Tech-savvy users have written down methods to bypass the notification, such as "I'll record it with a Screen Recorder," "If I shoot it with another phone, it won't be on mine," or "I'll turn off the internet before taking a screenshot."

Some have also criticized Facebook, saying they want the company to focus on improving real-world social life instead of constantly making updates for the online world.
