Microsoft billionaire Bill Gates has revealed in a closed-door hearing before a U.S. House Committee that he had affairs with three women, and that two secrets among them were known by the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
Gates disclosed the names of the women he had affairs with and admitted that although these complicated situations were unrelated to Epstein, they were extremely distressing for his family.
It is understood that Epstein attempted to use information about Gates's marital infidelity combined with other schemes to pressure Gates into re-establishing contact with him.
While Epstein did not directly threaten extortion, Gates told lawmakers that the emails he received from Epstein clearly indicated that Epstein was planning to threaten him.
However, Gates firmly denied having any involvement whatsoever in the serious sexual crimes committed by Epstein, and stated that their meetings were solely for philanthropic purposes and fundraising efforts.
