NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang revealed that the company's market share in China's AI chip market has deteriorated to 0% over the past two years.

Losing the Chinese market due to American export restrictions has significantly impacted the company, and he also warned that American policies need to be adjusted to align with reality.

According to Bernstein's estimates, NVIDIA's market share, which was 66% in 2024, has dropped to around 8% as domestically produced Chinese AI chips can now meet up to 80% of demand within the country.

Jensen Huang stated that since China has advantages in human resources and technology research, these blockades are actually pushing them to become more self-reliant.

Currently, Chinese technologists are shifting entirely toward domestic hardware alternatives such as Huawei, Cambricon, and Moore Threads instead of NVIDIA's chips.

While NVIDIA's CUDA software system remains a key advantage for America, Chinese companies are rapidly advancing their own chip and software technologies.
