In Shanghai, China, the first Ultimate Robot Knock-out Legend (URKL) humanoid robot MMA competition featured two T800 robots produced by Engine AI company competing fiercely against each other. The competition was attended by many people, including the renowned martial arts actor Donnie Yen, who were impressed by the robots' precise movements and performance capabilities.
During the event, the White Eagle team's robot delivered a powerful strike that damaged the opponent Bullfighter robot's head sensor system. However, the Bullfighter robot continued its attack using its body's core systems and algorithms without surrendering, ultimately achieving a surprising victory with a 2-3 record across the three matches.
This competition serves as a technological battlefield involving top universities and research organizations from around the world. The technologies and algorithm improvements gained from such competitions will become crucial foundational information for the development of the entire humanoid robotics industry, and the final grand finale of the competition, which will continue through the end of the season, is scheduled to take place in Dubai.
