Sharp Company has begun an era where you can interact with AI characters that resemble humans on TV, not just for watching TV alone.

The new AQUOS models from Sharp will feature AI characters called Daiki and Ayumi, and they will appear on the screen to keep you company and have conversations with you.

These TVs, which will start being distributed on May 23rd next year, are advanced technology products priced between ¥275,000 to ¥935,000 (equivalent to tens of thousands of Myanmar Kyat).

These TVs can not only talk back to you but also understand your interests and your current mood.

For example, when you're feeling sad or happy, the AI will select and recommend movies or programs that best match your emotional state.

This system is based on the world-renowned ChatGPT technology, so having conversations with the TV will provide a new experience similar to talking with a real person.

Users will be able to have free conversations with the AI up to 50 times per month, and if you pay an additional 495 yen (approximately $1.50) per month, you can converse up to 400 times.

Sharp Company aims to use this AI technology to transform TVs from being mere entertainment devices into something more, acting as companions like family members with additional usefulness.
