World's richest billionaire Elon Musk is currently living in quite a surprising place – a simple trailer. To closely oversee the construction of xAI's Macrohard data center in Memphis, Tennessee, he's sleeping just steps away from the servers, as he himself revealed at the All-In Summit event.
He even referred to the Airstream trailer as his "palace." Gwynne Shotwell, President of SpaceX, also confirmed that Musk is accustomed to sleeping on factory floors and personally participates in construction efforts.
Despite being a billionaire, this is nothing unusual for him. Previously, he slept at Twitter's headquarters and even lived in an inexpensive rental home in Texas.
Working full-time with minimal sleep while living such a modest lifestyle reflects his effort to rapidly expand xAI's infrastructure as quickly as possible.
Interestingly, at the same event, when asked about recent rumors of a possible merger between Tesla and SpaceX, instead of denying it, he disclosed that there are already significant collaborative efforts between the two companies.
