🔶Key Points to Know

You can have a maximum of 10 actions active at one time.

You can view the actions you've set up in Settings > Scheduled actions, and you can pause, edit, or delete them.

You can use it on both the Gemini Web App and mobile app.

🔶Do You Need to Keep Your Computer or Phone On for Scheduled Actions?

You don't need to keep your computer or phone on for Scheduled Actions.

Since this works on Gemini's Cloud (online server), it's helpful to understand the following:

Automatic execution: Once you set a time and give the "Schedule" command, that information is stored on Google's servers. So when the scheduled time arrives, Gemini will work on its own even if your device is turned off.

No internet needed: You don't need to have an internet connection active while the Scheduled Action is running. Gemini will show you the results when you check back after the task is complete.

Notifications: Once Gemini completes the task you've assigned it, it will send a notification (alert message) to your phone or computer. You can click on that notification and review what Gemini has prepared for you anytime.

In short, Scheduled Actions is "set it and forget it." You don't need to worry about keeping your device on or staying constantly connected to the internet.

🔶Is It Free?

No. To use the Scheduled Actions feature, you need to have a Google AI Pro or Google AI Ultra subscription (Paid Subscriptions). Additionally, Google Workspace users can also use it on certain specified plans.
