OpenAI's Chief Executive Sam Altman has stated that concerns about people losing jobs due to AI technology are overly pessimistic when viewed in the long term.

OpenAI's objective is to create AI tools that will help enhance people's capabilities, not to replace human beings, according to him.

However, currently there are concerns rising due to job cuts caused by AI in many industries, including the United States.

For example, King, the company that produces the Candy Crush game, has laid off some employees because AI can now generate game levels.

Additionally, predictions by other tech experts that AI will be able to write all code within the next 6 to 12 months have become a source of alarm among the public.

On this matter, Sam Altman believes that while AI will change the nature of jobs, it will not eliminate humanity's role.

In the future, people will transition to more meaningful work, and since AI will reduce tedious and difficult tasks, humans will be able to have freer and more satisfying lives, according to his optimistic view.
