Good news for those tired of constantly charging their phones. It appears vivo is about to enter the world of smartphones with 10,000 mAh and larger batteries. According to a prominent tipster, vivo is currently secretly testing a phone with an extremely large battery. In a Weibo post, the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station revealed that vivo is testing a phone with a 10,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery. Even more remarkably, the phone reportedly uses a 4.53V single-cell silicon battery with a standard capacity of somewhere between 11,000 mAh and 12,000 mAh — meaning it could potentially last for days on a single charge. However, don't expect to see this phone anytime soon. Extensive testing is still required. It is also more likely to launch as an affordable mid-range device or as an entry in the gaming-focused iQOO series, rather than as an expensive flagship. In fact, several other smartphone manufacturers have been releasing phones with 10,000 mAh and larger batteries in recent months. Honor launched the Win and Win RT with 10,000 mAh and followed up with the Honor Power2 at up to 10,080 mAh. The Realme P4 Power with its 10,001 mAh battery has also already claimed its place in the market. It's fair to say the era of giant battery phones is well and truly here. Ref: GSMArena
