Oppo Mocks Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7 Over Crease Issue

At an event in China on March 17, Oppo unveiled its new foldable phone, the Find N6, while publicly mocking rival Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7. Right on stage, after keeping the Fold 7 folded for about an hour and then unfolding it, the deep crease in the middle was clearly visible.
When Oppo then unfolded its Find N6, the display was flawlessly flat with nothing to criticize.
Oppo proudly declared that its new hinge design and Zero-Feel Crease technology significantly reduce creases. This is achieved through specially engineered components and glass layers designed to prevent long-term creasing.
The Find N6 is not just crease-free — it's also a powerhouse. It uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip with 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage.
The camera setup includes a 200MP main sensor, 50MP ultrawide and telephoto lenses, and 20MP selfie cameras on both displays. The battery is 6000mAh with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging, running Android 16-based ColorOS 16.
This bold on-stage comparison was Oppo's declaration that it has taken the lead in the foldable phone market. With the competition intensifying — including a rumored foldable iPhone this year — solving the crease issue is bound to be a major talking point going forward.
